There are many ways that organizations or individuals can help the LMT. You can adopt a section of the trail (one of 24 sections that make up the LMT), thus sponsoring all activities that aim to improve and maintain that section, such as trail marking, signage, and clearing. You can also sponsor an event along the trail (such as a festival, a thru-walk, an educational visit), or donate money to the LMT Association.

Money Donations to the LMT Association are accepted through major credit cards:

There are other ways that you can support the LMT:
• Buy products produced near the trail,
• Participate in walks organized by tour operators,
• Contact local guides directly,
• Or simply spread the word about the LMT in your circle of friends!

The LMT project team is planning to setup the “Friends of the LMT Association” in different parts of the world. If you are a Lebanese citizen living abroad, or a foreign national with close ties to Lebanon, and are interested in setting up such an organization in your country of residence, please contact us.
