The LMT Association is a volunteer-based, private nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and promotion of the LMT. The mission of the LMT Association is to oversee the long-term management of the trail and to ensure that future generations will continue to enjoy the rich natural, historical and cultural heritage along the LMT. More precisely, the objectives of the LMT Association are to:
• Develop, maintain and protect the Lebanon Mountain Trail
• Protect the natural, cultural and architectural heritage and landmarks near the trail
• Enhance economic opportunities durably by promoting responsible tourism

Why Become a Member?
As a member of the LMT Association, you will join a diversified group of people dedicated to maintaining and preserving the LMT. You will work with people from all walks of life who share your love for Lebanon’s natural heritage and cultural riches. By joining the LMT Association you will be helping conserve the LMT and sustain economic opportunities in rural communities. The annual membership fee is LBP 30,000 for active members ($20) and LBP 150,000 ($100) for supporting members. Revenues from membership fees will directly go to trail maintenance works.
